This steak marinade recipe is made with olive oil, soy sauce, garlic, lemon, herbs and spices, and takes just 5 minutes to put together. 1tablespoon Italian seasoning (see notes for homemade blend)
1teaspoon black pepper (freshly ground)
1/2teaspoon salt
1/2teaspoon onion powder
Instructions

Place all the ingredients in a bowl or in a resealable gallon-sized freezer bag. Mix thoroughly to combine.

Add up to 2 pounds of steak to the marinade. Seal the bag or cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to 24 hours for maximum flavor.

Remove steak from the marinade and cook using your preferred method—grill, broil, or pan-sear—until desired doneness is reached (see internal temperature guide).

Let the steak rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing against the grain and serving.
